throwing this here because the topic is getting louder and my confidence is not getting better.

Low-caf lots are exposing roast habits that felt safe on regular coffees

forum talk makes it sound simple. actual work does not. numbers can look fine, cup can disagree, workflow can look smooth then break once the pace gets busy. that gap is what bothers me.

for anyone who has repeated this in real work, what stayed true after the first nice result?

same feeling here. one clean result fooled me early. after a few repeats the picture looked less simple.

we saw benefit, but mostly on the harder coffees. forgiving lots hide the difference too easily.
