in Indonesia i often see ending a collaboration cleanly sound exciting in beginning, but after some weeks the discipline go down. so i think system is more important than hype.

My impression is that ending a collaboration cleanly looks stronger from outside than inside. Customer may like it, but if the team feels overloaded the long-term value drops fast.

I would not reject ending a collaboration cleanly at all, but I think many operators start it too early. First the core operation must be calm, then extra initiative has better chance.
