does anyone have an SOP written for roadry or a free walk?

honestly all this time my roadblocks were without SOP written. All the procedures are in my head and two operators. The results have been pretty consistent all along.

New problem appears when a new operator comes in. The training took so long and there's so much to repeat.

Now, thinking about how to get SOP written but confused where to start. Which part is the most important to SOP? And what a practical format it is, because it's too long to read.

mulai dari yang paling sering salah dulu. biasanya itu: urutan preheat, charge temperature, dan cooling time. tiga hal itu yang kalau salah paling berasa di hasil akhir.

the easiest format to use is a field operator checklist one page per step. not a long paragraph. if it's more than one sheet, it's usually not read time.

this is so true. That long SOP in a nice binder is often just a display. They're used all day usually on the machine walls.

it's often forgotten: the SOP isn't just how it works, it's what has to be done if things don't go normal. The simple decision tree for handling error was helpful to the new operator.

most importantly: write on SOP when to stop and report, not to try it yourself. That's what keeps the batch broken because the new operator doesn't know the limits.

if you want to be practical, record a one-way video as onboard material. the written document is still necessary but the video is faster understood for new operators who don't yet have a context.

the video is good, but it has to be updated if there's a change of procedure. If not updated, it's more dangerous than no SOP at all because the operator followed the wrong video.
