the question is too broad, roasting is a very deep theory, but to begin with: find out which aspect to learn from.

okay, I'm trying to answer the most basic: "delicious" is dependent on many factors: seed original, heat profile, time, target roast level.

first step: Choose a nice Zgreen bean first. Bad coffee from bad Zgreen bean won't be so good no matter what you do at Zroasting. GIGO: garbage in garbage out.

for starters: try to learn one original, one lot, until you can reproduce that is consistently okay. better master one before the other.

concrete advice: find a mentor or enter the workshop first. learning from experienced people is much more efficient than trial and error alone. worth the investment especially in the beginning.
