do someone who wants to start a coffee shop, how's that?

Just sell your own coffee. So the reseller of the existing roastery is easier but the margin is thinner

Has anyone tried these two lines?

jadi reseller dulu itu masuk akal banget buat yang belum punya skill roasting yang solid. sambil bangun channel penjualan dan customer base, belajar roasting dulu. kalau channel-nya sudah ada, baru switch ke roast sendiri.

if the ZZCF001Zs aren't good, selling their own coffee can ruin the reputation before it gets built. The customer who gets inconsistent coffee is hard again.

those thin margins in the receiver can be compensated with the volume and speed of cash flow. roastery itself has bigger margins but there's a captal work being held in stock and it takes time for established consistent qualities.

there is a third option often ignored: white-label. Another rodeo that roast for you, you sell with your own brand. more control than a regular reseller but no need to have his own machine.

no universal answer. It depends on the purpose of business, how much capital you have available, and how much time you're willing to invest in roasting skills. That roasting's for you. That's passion, building skills now. If it's just means to an end, start with a seller.
