i'm sorry if the post is a mess, it's my first time posting here.

I want to learn about coffee, especially ZzCF001Z. but it's very confusing where to start. There are many videos on YouTube,

Some say to understand first ZZZCF002Z. Some say practice first, How are you doing?

start from the most basic: Try a lot of coffee first from different roaster before buying any machine. First you know the taste difference, then you can understand why roasting matters.

try the roasting intro class once you're in your town. SCA has a program of the earliest levels. Understanding his theory before burning his own seeds was more effective than autodidak.

yes, it is. i used to buy machines without learning a lot of theories, but it was a lot of batches that broke. if i could back off, i'd learn the theory at least 2-3 months before investing in the machine.

be honest if you want to learn roasting then practice directly. Most theories without practice don't come true. Buy a cheap green bean, try a roast, break down, learn from the damage.

ada banyak komunitas roasting di Indonesia yang welcome banget sama pemula, coba join dulu. bisa numpang ngobrol sama yang lebih berpengalaman, kadang bisa numpang roast juga sambil belajar.

i'm just learning. What I found was very helpful. It was a cupping session back in the nearest roadroom. It's usually free or cheap, and you can understand the difference between a different profile before you learn to make your own profile.
