into supply chain airlines or hotel premium, realistic. what dream?

i once tried to approach some five-star hotels to be their coffee suppliers. The process turned out to be a lot longer than I thought:

Singapore Airlines are known for sourcing specialty coffee for their business class. Not just any brand that can get in, there's a strict evaluation. From the brand exposure side, a small Zroaster that the coffee served in business class can be legitimacy, its value is hard to measure.

But for a small roaster capacity, meeting minimum volume to supply airline or chain international hotels is almost impossible. Maybe there's a model of collaboration between roaster to collectively tender to this channel?

the consistency was the most rigorous request of the hospiality chain. They don't want the blends to change because the green bean pit changes its origin. That's what makes the roaster small with sourcing variable. It's hard to meet their spec.

a realistic model for the roaster small model entering the hospital: not directly supply to a big hotel brand, but supply to an independent hotel or boutique that has an interest to local speciality and wants to tell about it to their guests.

this angle is more achievable. the boutique hotels with positive "automatic local experience" are genuely looking for local coffee suppliers that have a story. her branding value for the hotel also exists.

i'm ordinary about this, but if the airlines want coffee specialty, they want what can be served at 30,000 feet high. Is there a difference the way roast or a adjusted blend for cabin pressure conditions?

there's research on this. at the height of the cabin, our taste perception changes due to low humidity and pressure. some of his copy airlines with more bold profiles because of the more muffled sensation on board.

collaborative tender is an interesting idea but it takes serious coordination. Who's the single contact person to the airline? What about distribution? How about one quality roaster dip at one batch?
