How much is the DTR ideal? I'm always confused about this

Okay, so I'm studying roast curve analysis and found the term DTR alias development time Ratio. They say the ideal is about 20-25%, but I've read about it.

I've tried a few times Zroast Flores Bajawa, Zfirst crack in the 195-, total roast time 11 minutes, Zdevelopment time about 2 minutes 20 seconds. If you count DTRs, about 21%.

The results. But there's a sense that somehow less developed in the middle, kind of hollow that way. I didn't know it was due to the lack of DTR or any other problem.

Can anyone love Insight? Or share your DTR normally what kind of bean?

DTR 21% is already in range which is okay actually. But the hollow you think might not be about the DTR, could be from the overflats of the Maillard phase phase. Check ROR curve lo in 7-9, if drop is too sharp it makes less developed even if DTR is enough.

I'm a little rusty when it comes to DTR. A lot of roaster never mentioned DTR but the results were consistent. This guideline is not the law. More importantly, you can reproduce or not.

I usually take 20-22% to be washed originally. But if my nature tends to shorten to 18-19% because nature is already more fruity than the process, then it's weird. Different bean is different treatment bro.

Agree to dawn. The Hollow you feel is classic signed from the underdeveloped. Try raising it by 23-24%, it's thin but it can get a lot in the cup.

Eh sebentar dulu, hollow bisa juga dari grind size yang terlalu coarse kalau lo test pake filter. Jangan langsung nyalahin roast profile dulu. Udah coba adjust grind sama water temp belum?
