Community newsletters still feel old-school and weirdly effective

this has been on my mind after a few events and group chats lately.

Community newsletters still feel old-school and weirdly effective

from the outside the community can still look healthy. inside, energy may already be leaking. people do not always complain. sometimes they just stop showing up. that part is easy to miss.

for anyone helping build community, what was the earliest useful signal for you?

tone beats theory here. you can have useful topic and still create cold atmosphere.
