this has been sitting in my head because the industry keeps pushing it faster.

Nano-roaster setups inside retail spaces are looking less crazy than last year

from outside it can look like obvious progress. inside the team it can feel like one more moving part with no spare hands. i am less interested in the polished version and more in the boring reality.

where did this actually help, and where did it become expensive noise?

from outside it looked strong. inside the business it needed more follow-up than we guessed.

the stronger version of this usually has tighter operations behind it. weak operations make it look fake fast.

that line about timing feels right. same idea at wrong moment can still be bad business.

first-week excitement can lie. repeat behavior is the only part i trust now.

i would not reject it, but many operators start this too early while the core workflow is still shaky.

i think timing is a big part. same idea can be smart six months later and messy right now.

for me this is not bad trend, just dangerous if business run it before the core workflow is stable enough.
