How much salary transparency should appear already in the job post?

In my market more operators are starting to talk about salary transparency in coffee job posts. The idea sounds good in meeting, but I am not sure how well it survives in daily business. We all want something sustainable, not only something that looks smart online.

If you have experience with salary transparency in coffee job posts, where does it usually fail and where does it actually work?

What changed my mind about salary transparency in coffee job posts was seeing repeat behavior, not first-week excitement. Coffee business always has ideas; the rare thing is ideas that stay healthy.

in Indonesia i often see salary transparency in coffee job posts sound exciting in beginning, but after some weeks the discipline go down. so i think system is more important than hype.

I have seen salary transparency in coffee job posts work, but only when the business knows exactly what metric to watch. If nobody measures anything, then it becomes activity without learning.

My impression is that salary transparency in coffee job posts looks stronger from outside than inside. Customer may like it, but if the team feels overloaded the long-term value drops fast.

I would not reject salary transparency in coffee job posts at all, but I think many operators start it too early. First the core operation must be calm, then extra initiative has better chance.
