What innovation in coffee looks overhyped today but maybe useful later?

coffee innovation that looks overhyped today looks like one of those ideas that can either become strong long-term asset or just another busy project. I am interested in the boring reality behind it: workload, consistency, staff energy, customer response, and repeatability.

If you have already tested coffee innovation that looks overhyped today, what result convinced you to continue or to stop?

I would not reject coffee innovation that looks overhyped today at all, but I think many operators start it too early. First the core operation must be calm, then extra initiative has better chance.

What changed my mind about coffee innovation that looks overhyped today was seeing repeat behavior, not first-week excitement. Coffee business always has ideas; the rare thing is ideas that stay healthy.

For coffee innovation that looks overhyped today, execution quality matters more than the idea itself. Many good concepts fail because the team runs it without enough clarity and follow-up.

I have seen coffee innovation that looks overhyped today work, but only when the business knows exactly what metric to watch. If nobody measures anything, then it becomes activity without learning.

My impression is that coffee innovation that looks overhyped today looks stronger from outside than inside. Customer may like it, but if the team feels overloaded the long-term value drops fast.
