Are electric roaster profiles translating badly when moved from gas drum setups?

Anyone moving profile logic from electric roaster to gas drum lately? I keep hearing the same recipe numbers do not travel well. Curve shape can look close, but cup feeling is still different. Where do you usually stop trusting the original profile?

I stop trusting it from minute one. Transfer only intent, not exact event timing.

Intent is the right word. I carry target flavor, not carry every number.

Same shape on screen can still give different cup. Heat application feels different, so I only use old profile as direction, not copy.
