Preventive maintenance routines fail first when one technician becomes the bottleneck

forum talk makes it sound simple. actual work does not. numbers can look fine, cup can disagree, workflow can look smooth then break once the pace gets busy. that gap is what bothers me.

for anyone who has repeated this in real work, what stayed true after the first nice result?

some teams are speaking about this like final truth already. i still think context changes the answer a lot.

for us the useful part was not the idea itself, more the discipline it forced on the team.

we saw benefit, but mostly on the harder coffees. forgiving lots hide the difference too easily.
