Coffee mocktails keep getting attention, but do they stay after the trend?

coffee mocktails as a long-term menu item looks like one of those ideas that can either become strong long-term asset or just another busy project. I am interested in the boring reality behind it: workload, consistency, staff energy, customer response, and repeatability.

If you have already tested coffee mocktails as a long-term menu item, what result convinced you to continue or to stop?

I would not reject coffee mocktails as a long-term menu item at all, but I think many operators start it too early. First the core operation must be calm, then extra initiative has better chance.

in Indonesia i often see coffee mocktails as a long-term menu item sound exciting in beginning, but after some weeks the discipline go down. so i think system is more important than hype.

For coffee mocktails as a long-term menu item, execution quality matters more than the idea itself. Many good concepts fail because the team runs it without enough clarity and follow-up.

I have seen coffee mocktails as a long-term menu item work, but only when the business knows exactly what metric to watch. If nobody measures anything, then it becomes activity without learning.

My impression is that coffee mocktails as a long-term menu item looks stronger from outside than inside. Customer may like it, but if the team feels overloaded the long-term value drops fast.
