Is WhatsApp-based internal coordination starting to break operations once volume grows?

Many small teams run production updates, urgent stock asks, machine downtime notes, and delivery changes inside WhatsApp groups. It works until volume grows and then one missing message creates wrong roast or late dispatch. Is chat-based coordination starting to break operations faster than people admit?

Chat is too good for noise and too weak for accountability.

Exactly. Chat should support operations, not become the operations system itself.

For quick notice it is okay, but if final production instruction also there, people can miss newest message and still use old one.

Search history is not the same as process control.

The problem appears when urgent and important look identical in chat.
