Why do back-to-back production batches drift even when the profile file looks identical?

On production days I can run the same saved profile file, same batch size, same gas notes, and still second or third batch lands different. Not huge disaster, but enough that the later cup feels slightly flatter or drier. What are you watching first when back to back batches drift like this?

Carryover heat in metal is bigger than profile file can show.

Yes, thermal memory is the first suspect. Many software views make us forget the machine is not reset to zero.

I see this a lot. File looks same but environment in machine already changed from previous batch, so charge behaviour is not really same anymore.

Exhaust condition also changes after few batches, especially when chaff builds.

Probe lag can hide small drift until cup tells you later.

Also operator rhythm. Ten second difference on charge or dump already matters.
