how do you get charge temp to start the roasting?

time to start Zroasting, engine must be heated to a certain temperature before entering seeds

How do we know it's the right temperature to start putting seeds in? Is there any reference we can use?

charge temp is one of the first variables that needs to be set in profile. There's no universal number because it's highly dependent on machines, batch size, and the profiling is desired. The broad range is 160-220 degrees for a lot of setup, but some profiles could be beyond this range.

turning point, which is the point where the bean temperature stops going down and starts going up after the cold beans of -charge into the hot drum, it's a useful indicator. The ideal turning point is usually between 1-3 minutes after the charge for normal batch size.

That tall charge temp could have exposed heat shock and risk tipping or scorching at the beginning. Too low. It can make drying phase too slow and a whole profile longer than it wants to.

practically: warm up engine used to be stable at target charge temp for 5-10 minutes before drop beans. Don't drop so soon the numbers on the display show the target because the machine hasn't fully stabilized.

here's what i haven't noticed. so warm up is gonna have to wait to be stable. yeah, right, right, right. drop the time?
