what's with the roasting?

i tried some roasting myself but the results were always bad

It's really bitter and there's a little acetate. I don't know where the harm is. I tried to write a fire so it's not too hot, but it's still the same.

Any idea why? Or should I tell you more details?

perlu info lebih untuk bisa bantu: ukuran batch berapa? mesin jenis apa? suhu charge Temperature berapa? waktu total roasting berapa menit? first crack di menit ke berapa? karena tanpa data ini hampir tidak mungkin diagnosa masalahnya.

"nurunin fire is not too hot" is too simple a diagnosis. It can be bitter from overdevelopment but it can also from underdevelopment. Smoke tastes usually from less airflow or burnt chaff. Two different problems, different solutions.

if there's smoke, first check if airflow is enough. The smoke that doesn't come out of that drum could snap into the seeds. Open the damper wider in phase after first crack it often solve the taste of smoke in common cases.

try the obvious roast through the first crack, just record the time and temperature. Then try to get out one minute after first crack and compare. That's a baseline for the next trouble shoot.

if you're just getting started and you don't have a heat gauge proper, that could be the main source of trouble. roasting with no precise temperature data that's really not able to reproduce.

the same bitter smell of smoke is two things that she holds differently. i agree with others, tell me more in advance. what temperature, how long, what seeds.
