the roastery without the afterburner all these years is safe. why should we play?
I know that roasting smoke has bad VOC and particulate for health. But there's been a lot of nastiness going on for years without afterburner, without a special air purification system, and there's nothing to complain about issue respiratory.
There's now a push from several forums and communities of roasting for "mandatory" having an afterburner or catalytic oxidizer. It comes from real regulation, from vendors that want to sell equipments, or from genuine health concern?
Any concrete data on the health impact of the roastry without a smoke system compared to the existing one?
