has anyone sold or bought Zgreen bean through digital marketing?

just tried Algrano a few months ago. The platform is quite clean, there are 500 + producers listed from various origines, about 200 roaster active as a buyer of 50 + the country he says. Most lot there's a sample request before the commit buys.

What I like: transparency price and original vacation are clearer than usual. I can see if this lot is fair trade, what certification, what process, and who the farmer is.

But what's worse: more experienced buyers say the market is still niche and the bigger trading is still traditional brokerage. Probably 95% of green bean trade is still conventional.

Has anyone had a longer experience using this digital platform, especially to buy from Indonesia?

from the seller side, the list on the digital platform is meaningful for range but has to be realistic about cost. some significant charge fee platform or cut of a transaction that can cut the margins down.

various problems: good samples are not always representative of the full ships. there are standard samples sent before the deal but lot actuality can be different. it's not the platform, it's the industry.

this is one of the reasons why personal relations with farmers or mill still have values that can't be fully replaced platform. it's built on direct interaction, not from profile page.

that's right. it's even when the deal's been on the platform, eventually that makes the confident a direct visit to the farm or the mill.

are there any similar platforms that focus more on Indonesia? Algrano had more Latin and African origin when I checked.
