Should a beginner focus on one brew method first or try many?

The more beginner content I read about focusing on one brew method as a beginner, the less sure I become. Some guides make it sound very important, others say do not worry about it yet. I want to build good habits, but I also do not want to drown in details too early.

If you were explaining focusing on one brew method as a beginner to someone at the very beginning, what would you say matters first?

For a beginner, focusing on one brew method as a beginner should be simple enough that you can actually test it yourself. If advice cannot be tested at home, it is not very helpful yet.

What helped me with focusing on one brew method as a beginner was comparing only one change at a time. When too many things move together, beginner cannot learn what caused the difference.

I would not stress too much about focusing on one brew method as a beginner at the start. Good habit and curiosity matter more than getting every technical point right immediately.

About focusing on one brew method as a beginner, I think beginner should first look for repeatable habit, not perfect theory. Coffee becomes easier when one small routine feels stable.

I remember being confused by focusing on one brew method as a beginner too. Usually the hardest part is that many answers are partly true, but they come from different contexts.
