In my market more operators are starting to talk about improving queue experience in a cafe. The idea sounds good in meeting, but I am not sure how well it survives in daily business. We all want something sustainable, not only something that looks smart online.
If you have experience with improving queue experience in a cafe, where does it usually fail and where does it actually work?

I would not reject improving queue experience in a cafe at all, but I think many operators start it too early. First the core operation must be calm, then extra initiative has better chance.

What changed my mind about improving queue experience in a cafe was seeing repeat behavior, not first-week excitement. Coffee business always has ideas; the rare thing is ideas that stay healthy.

For improving queue experience in a cafe, execution quality matters more than the idea itself. Many good concepts fail because the team runs it without enough clarity and follow-up.

I have seen improving queue experience in a cafe work, but only when the business knows exactly what metric to watch. If nobody measures anything, then it becomes activity without learning.

My impression is that improving queue experience in a cafe looks stronger from outside than inside. Customer may like it, but if the team feels overloaded the long-term value drops fast.
