Are roaster exhaust pressure gauges underrated for day-to-day machine stability?

A lot of teams watch heat and airflow settings, but fewer talk about exhaust pressure as a simple daily reality check. I keep hearing that a basic pressure gauge helped some operators notice drift earlier than cup complaints did. Are exhaust pressure gauges still underrated for day-to-day machine stability?

Very underrated. One stable reference on exhaust side can explain a lot of weird roasting days.

Yes, boring instrumentation often becomes the fastest truth-teller in production.

Simple gauge can help operator notice maintenance drift faster. Not everything must wait until cup quality or smoke behavior gets obviously different.

It gives machine context that software graphs alone may not show clearly.

And it helps separate system issue from green coffee suspicion.
