Are semi-automatic bagging setups now the practical middle ground before full packing automation?

Full packaging automation still looks too heavy for many teams, but manual bagging also becomes painful once volume climbs. I keep hearing good things about semi-automatic setups that reduce handwork without forcing a full line redesign. Is this becoming the practical middle ground now for growing roasteries?

For many teams yes, because it improves rhythm without demanding huge capital jump.

Yes, partial automation can free attention for QC without making the line rigid.

Manual flexibility is still there, but operator fatigue becomes lower.

Middle ground equipment often wins because change management is easier too.

The best part is usually consistency in fill pace, not glamour.
