how long can green bean be kept without significant degradation?

optimal storage for green bean is about 12 months. After that, there's starting to be a flavor of degradation, usually towards papery or woody. But I heard some traders say that the storage conditions are great, they can be more than that.

From the buyer side, past-crop's risk or opportunity? And standard industry. About how long does green still count as acceptable? It's flexible?

twelve months is standard warehouse. if using climate-controlled storage with humidity and temperature is heavily guarded, it could extend to 18-24 months without a reclusive degradation. but the cost of a stunt is going up too.

pasta-crop is opportunity if we know what to buy. the lot is inherently complex and the high quality can aging with more gracefully. so you need a cup before the deal.

there are some originals that actually have green bean's culture as an intensity practice. Yemen and some of that Monsoon Malabar from India. It's not degradation, it's transformation.

Monsoon Malabar is a coffee that exposure to monsoon breeze makes the seeds swell and tastes like a typical earthy- winey. Not everyone likes it but there's a very specific market for it.

from the inventory plan side, over- stocking pas supply tight like 2020202022 it's a reasonable decision even now to be burden. the trade-off between supply security and freshness is not always the right answer.

ever buy a pastcrop because it's attractive, but once it's sold a customer notice there's a stall note. reputations cost more than savings. now watch out for past crop.

if you want to sell past-crop, concentrate honestly. "2023 crop, stored with climate control" that info buyer can evaluate. that information hide is what makes erosion trust.
