Training exchange between teams: underrated form of collaboration?

training exchange between coffee teams looks like one of those ideas that can either become strong long-term asset or just another busy project. I am interested in the boring reality behind it: workload, consistency, staff energy, customer response, and repeatability.

If you have already tested training exchange between coffee teams, what result convinced you to continue or to stop?

What changed my mind about training exchange between coffee teams was seeing repeat behavior, not first-week excitement. Coffee business always has ideas; the rare thing is ideas that stay healthy.

in Indonesia i often see training exchange between coffee teams sound exciting in beginning, but after some weeks the discipline go down. so i think system is more important than hype.

I have seen training exchange between coffee teams work, but only when the business knows exactly what metric to watch. If nobody measures anything, then it becomes activity without learning.

My impression is that training exchange between coffee teams looks stronger from outside than inside. Customer may like it, but if the team feels overloaded the long-term value drops fast.

I would not reject training exchange between coffee teams at all, but I think many operators start it too early. First the core operation must be calm, then extra initiative has better chance.
