rTD specialty grade coffee, is this the trend that's gonna last or is the peak over?

that RTD coffee market is growing crazy. Last year's discussion in some regional conference called the growing rate of this segment could reach a high single digit to double-digit percent globally

interesting thing: now it's starting to have a special RTD not just a regular coffee can, but a cold brew with single information, a concentration that touches itself in the house, even a collaret between small roastery and FMCG for co@@

Looks like a big opportunity for local roastry. But do you guys see this as a viable trend or just bubble?

i've tried some of the RTD specialty that circulate and mixed up a lot of quality. The one from the space cream can surprise me, it's maintained with a real budget. The cheap ones are so obvious, so much cuter than usual and the ZZCF001Znya artificially.

never bought RTD with a positive "specialty" but when it read the ingredient: It's not specialty coffee, it's flavored coffee drink with specialty label. The branding is so misleading and that's what makes the trust consumer into this category so violent

from the channel side of the sale, the RTD is a different opening market than the Roasted Beans pack. It's a consumer who doesn't have his own beard, who buys it in the minimarket, which is convention-first. The roastry that has a vision brand building could reach this segment without opening its own review outlet.

cold brew concentration is a technically interesting category. different extraction ratio, different grind size, different extraction time. There's quite a learning curve from espresso or pour over. The rodeo that wants to take seriously into the RTD needs to invest in cold brew process which is not a trivial.

the biggest challenge to specialty RTD in Indonesia: shelter life and cold chain distribution. A good cold brew needs a refrigitation in the entire distribution to make the quality matured. That's expensive logistics, especially if you're gonna reach out for the big city, and it could eat into the thin margin.

the RTD market will remain and thrive, which quests are more about and which segment. The RTD market mass has a strong player. The RTD specialty has real niche in the consumer urban which is coffee- literate but doesn't have time to brew itself every morning.
