Are more small roasters moving to shared container models instead of buying direct full shipments?

I keep hearing about more shared container and group import structures for smaller roasters. It gives access to origin without forcing one company to take a full volume alone. Is this model now becoming more normal than before?

Yes, because many smaller roasters want origin access but can not take full container risk alone.

Exactly. It reduces entry barrier, but coordination skill becomes critical.

Shared model makes sense now. For small roaster it is more possible to join, even if margin maybe not biggest.

The hard part is quality alignment between participants. Not everyone accepts the same compromise.

Operationally it works if one party really manages communication well.
