Set minimum and maximum inventory values

The Commodity Code, Commodity Name, and SKU Code fields retrieve data from the Items page and are used to display a complete list of all items available in the system.

The Minimum Inventory Value and Maximum Inventory Quantity are displayed in the Minimum Stock and Maximum Stock columns on the Item Management screen.

Minimum Inventory Value

The Minimum Inventory Value is used to:

  • Filter products whose stock level is equal to or below the defined minimum stock threshold via the Minimum Stock filter in the Items menu.

  • Display inventory alerts on the Item Management screen.
Items with stock levels below the minimum threshold are highlighted in red to indicate low inventory.

Maximum Inventory Quantity

The Maximum Inventory Quantity is used to:

  • Filter products whose stock level is equal to or greater than the defined maximum stock limit via the Maximum Stock filter in the Items menu.

These settings help ensure effective inventory monitoring, stock control, and timely replenishment decisions.
