To create a new warehouse in your organization, follow the steps below:
Step 1: Access the Warehouse Menu

Navigate to Inventory → Warehouse from the left sidebar.
Step 2: Create a Warehouse

Click Add Warehouse at the top of the page.
Step 3: Complete Warehouse Information
On the Add Warehouse page, fill in the following fields:

Warehouse Code
Enter a unique code to identify the warehouse. -
Warehouse Name
Enter the official name of the warehouse. -
Order
Define the display order of the warehouse in inventory selection dropdowns.
This works similarly to alphabetical (A–Z) ordering. -
Assign to Staff
Assign the warehouse to specific employees.-
Only assigned staff members can manage inventory for the selected warehouse.

Assigned staff can:
-
Create inventory receiving vouchers
-
Create inventory delivery vouchers
-
Create internal delivery notes
-
Perform loss and adjustment transactions

Warehouse Address
Enter the complete address information:-
Address

City
-
Province/State
-
Postal Code
-
Country
-

Note
Enter any additional notes related to the warehouse (optional). -
Display
-
Enable this option to display the warehouse in warehouse selection dropdowns.

Disable this option to hide the warehouse from selection.

Hide Warehouse When Out of Stock (Inventory → Items)
-
Enable this option to hide the warehouse on the Items management page when it has no stock.
-
Disable this option to always display the warehouse, even when out of stock.

Custom Fields Tab
-
This tab is empty during warehouse creation.
-
Warehouse custom fields become visible only on the Edit Warehouse screen after being assigned.

Step 4: Save
-
Click Save to create the warehouse.
Add Custom Fields for Warehouses and Assign Warehouses to Staff
Step 1: Create a Custom Field

Go to Setups → Custom Fields.
-
Click New Custom Field.
Step 2: Define Custom Field Details
On the Add New Custom Field page:

Belongs To: Select Warehouse
-
Field Name: Enter the name of the custom field
-
Type: Select the appropriate field type
-
Default Value: (Optional)
-
Order: Define the display order
Save the custom field.
Step 3: Assign Custom Fields to Warehouses

Navigate to Inventory → Settings.
-
Select Warehouse Custom Fields.
Configure the following:

Custom Field: Select the custom field you want to assign.
-
Warehouse Name: Select the warehouse to which the custom field will be applied.
Only custom fields predefined under Settings → Warehouse Custom Fields can be assigned.
Step 4: Edit the Warehouse

Go to Inventory → Warehouse.

Hover over the warehouse and click Edit.
-
Open the Custom Fields tab.
-
The assigned custom fields will now be visible.
-
Click Save to apply the changes.
Delete a Warehouse
If a warehouse is no longer operational, it can be removed from the system.
Steps to Delete a Warehouse

Navigate to Inventory → Warehouse.

Hover over the warehouse you want to remove and click Delete.
-
Confirm the deletion in the pop-up dialog.
Note: Ensure that the warehouse has no active inventory or dependencies before deletion.
View Warehouse Details
To view detailed information about an existing warehouse:
Steps

Navigate to Inventory → Warehouse.

Hover over the warehouse and click View to display its details.
