Only one person needs to approve the transaction

If your workflow includes multiple approvers, you can simplify the approval process by enabling the “Only 1 person needs to approve the transaction” option. When this option is enabled, the transaction will require approval from only one approver, instead of all assigned approvers.

How to Enable Single-Approver Approval

  1. Navigate to the Inventory module.

  2. Select the Settings menu.

  3. Open Approval Settings.

  4. Click the New Approval Setting button.

  5. Complete the required fields and enable the option “Only 1 person needs to approve the transaction.”

  6. Click Save.

Submitting a Transaction for Approval

  1. Create a transaction that follows the approval setting configured above.

  2. Click Save & Send Request.

Once Save & Send Request is selected:

  • All approvers defined in the approval setting will simultaneously receive approval notifications via:

    • Web notifications

    • Email notifications

Approval Outcome

  1. When any one approver logs in and selects Approve or Reject:

  • The transaction status immediately changes to APPROVED or REJECTED

  • Other approvers will no longer be able to approve or reject the transaction

Result

  • The transaction creator will receive web and email notifications informing them of the final transaction status.
