You can receive email notifications for products that are approaching their expiration date. To enable near-expiry email notifications, follow the steps below:
- Navigate to the Cron Job settings and enable the Inventory cron job.
- Specify the automatic email dispatch time in the Hour of day to perform automatic functions field.
- Define the notification threshold by entering the number of days prior to expiration in the Automatically send items that will expire before X (date) field.
- Select the recipient(s) who will receive the expiration notifications.
Once configured, the system will automatically send email alerts for items that are nearing their expiration date, ensuring timely action and effective inventory management.
