1. Inventory Menu Enhancement
A new Inventory menu has been added to the system.
This screen displays only items that currently have stock on hand, along with their corresponding quantities. For each item, the system shows:

Stock quantities by Lot Number

Stock quantities by Expiry Date
This allows users to track inventory at a more granular level for improved traceability and stock control.
Permission Requirement
Employees only need to be granted the View (Global) permission for Inventory → Items to access and view the entire Inventory menu.
2. Warehouse and Inventory Visibility Based on Assigned Warehouses
Assign to Staffs Permission
The Assign to Staffs permission allows a staff member to:

Assign warehouses to other users within the system
This permission also affects warehouse and inventory visibility as follows:
Scenario A: Assigned Warehouses Only
If a staff member:

Does not have View (Global) permission, but
-
Does have the Assign to Staffs permission
Then:

The staff member will only be able to view:

Warehouses assigned to them

Item stock quantities within those assigned warehouses

Scenario B: Global Visibility
If a staff member has the View (Global) permission:

They can view all warehouses
-
They can see the inventory levels across all warehouses in the system
3. Barcode Scanning via Mobile Devices
The system supports barcode scanning using mobile devices to quickly search for products in:

The Items menu
-
The Inventory menu
This feature improves efficiency during stock checks, warehouse operations, and inventory audits.
