To create a new Debit Note, follow the steps below:
Step 1: Navigate to the Debit Notes menu under the Purchase module from the left sidebar and click the New Debit Note button.
Step 2: On the Add New Debit Note page, complete the following details:

Vendor: Select the vendor.

Discount Type: Select the applicable discount type.

Debit Note Date: Enter the debit note date.

Items: Select or enter the item, then enter the Quantity and Rate, and click Add to include the item in the Debit Note.

Click Remove to delete an item from the Debit Note.
Note:

If the Load items by vendor option is enabled, only items associated with the selected vendor will be available for selection.

If the Load items by vendor option is disabled, all items will be available for selection.

Step 3: Click the Save button to create the Debit Note.
Edit Debit Note
To edit an existing Debit Note, follow these steps:
Step 1: Select the Debit Note to be modified and click Edit.
Step 2: Make the necessary changes and click the Save button to apply the updates.
Delete Debit Note
Only Debit Notes that have not been invoiced, debited, or refunded can be deleted.
To delete a Debit Note, follow these steps:
Step 1: Hover over the Debit Note and click the Debit Note Number hyperlink.
Step 2: Click More, then select Delete.
Step 3: Confirm your action in the confirmation pop-up. The selected Debit Note will be permanently deleted.
