Creating a POS Shift
Before creating a new shift, ensure that the employee does not have any open (active) shifts.
Step 1: Access the POS Menu

Navigate to Omni Sales → POS from the left sidebar,
or -
Go to Omni Sales → Sales Channel, then click Go to POS Page.
Step 2: Create a New Shift

Click the Create Shift button.
Step 3: Enter Opening Balance

In the New Shift pop-up window, enter the Opening Balance.

Click Save to open the shift.
Closing a POS Shift
Step 1: Open the POS Menu

Navigate to Omni Sales → POS from the left sidebar.
Step 2: Select the Active Shift

Select the shift you want to close.
Step 3: Close the Shift

Click Actions, then select Close Shift.
Step 4: Confirm

Click OK to confirm and close the shift.
Deleting a POS Shift

Only shifts with Closed status can be deleted.

Only administrators have permission to delete POS shifts.
